Hosea 14:4-9

4 I will ^aheal their apostasy,
I will ^blove them freely,
For My anger has ^cturned away from them.
5 I will be like the ^ddew to Israel;
He will blossom like the ^elily,
And he will ^{▼▼ Lit strike his roots}take root like the cedars of ^gLebanon.
6 His shoots will ^{▼▼ Lit go}sprout,
And his ^{▼▼ Or splendor}beauty will be like the ^jolive tree
And his fragrance like the cedars of ^kLebanon.
7 Those who ^llive in his shadow
Will ^{▼▼ Or return, they will raise grain}again raise ⁿgrain,
And they will blossom like the vine.
His renown will be like the wine of Lebanon.

8 O Ephraim, what more have I to do with ^oidols?
It is I who answer and look after ^{▼▼ Lit him}you.
I am like a luxuriant ^qcypress;
From ^rMe comes your fruit.

9 ^sWhoever is wise, let him understand these things;
Whoever is discerning, let him know them.
For the ^tways of the Lord are right,
And the ^urighteous will walk in them,
But ^vtransgressors will stumble in them.
